Adieu Tristesse candle By Joya Studio

Joya Studio created a signature scent for our cocktail bar on Smith Street in Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn. 

The result: Adieu Tristesse (“Farewell Sadness”) with sultry amber, North African spice and dark woods, meant to reflect not only the ethos of the establishment but also our owner’s roots and ancestry.

Inspired by Barely’s seductive ambiance: Brooklyn via Marseille and Algeria.

Top Notes: cardamom, clove, cumin, caraway and elemi

Heart: rosewood and iris

Drydown: Moroccan Cedarwood, palo santo, sandalwood, musk, leather, amber, myrrh & vetiver.
